I am currently pursuing PhD degree at ielab in The University of Queensland, Australia, supervised by Dr. Guido Zuccon and Dr. Bevan Koopman. I was graduated from the University of Minnesota Twin-Cities with my Bachelor of Science degree in United States in 2016.
For my PhD study, I am mainly focusing on researching how to improve the agricultural QA systems with Information Retrieval, which aim to assist farmers to make accurate growing decisions by developing new methods and machine learning models.
My publications are listed in this page along with corresponding github repos.

Automatic query formulation is a challenging task. In this paper, we present a novel end-to-end set of advanced tools for information specialists. These tools are tightly integrated into an existing Open Source search strategy refining package (searchrefiner). These tools aim to address the problems associated with search strategy development by providing a complete framework from query development, to refinement, to documentation. The implementation of these tools also offers a glimpse at the ease at which related tools may be implemented within the searchrefiner ecosystem. More information about the tools including installation, documentation, screenshots, and a link to a demo is made available on the searchrefiner website: https://ielab.io/searchrefiner
